Ultimate Neon Battle Arena

Ultimate Neon Battle Arena is a Top-Down 1v1 Twin-Stick-Shooter with a Rogue-Like twist.

The players have to fight each other in a small Neon-Styled arena and after each round the game evolves and with it the Chaos rises. From small changes like faster bullets to a complete Level overhaul, the game features a variety of new rules and mechanics that completely change the way it's played.

In order to win one player has to win four rounds, but each time a player loses he can choose the next rule that is added to the game.

Controls:
Gamepad (recommended):

• Left Stick - Move
• Right Stick - Aim
• Right Trigger/R2 - Shoot
• Left Trigger/ L2 - Ability

Keyboard (1 Player at max):

• W/A/S/D - Move and Aim
• Space - Shoot

The majority of this game was created in a 56h Streaming Marathon organized by the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida in Germany and the VOD can be found on their twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/hochschule_mittweida.

Sadly we weren't able to finish the game in a way that we are pleased with it, but we really liked the idea of the game. We will continue to work on it in the future, so please give us your feedback in the comments. :)
